Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program

The Australian Curriculum emphasises 21st century learning and we live in a world where technology allows for learning to occur anywhere and anytime. Having their own device means that students will have access to technology at all times and can use the same device at home to support teaching and learning.

Guildford Grammar School operates a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program for all students in Years 7-12. This means that all students bring their own personal device to school every day to use in class. The School continues with its optional BYOD Program for students in Year 5 and 6.

We have partnered with JB HiFi to help you choose the right device for your child’s needs. You can access this information by visiting the website and using the code GGS2023. You are free to use JB HiFi or buy your device from any other supplier, provided it meets the necessary specifications.

Our team of experienced, Registered Nurses provide a variety of services including accident and emergency management, primary health care and referral to other health professionals in liaison with the wider school community.

The Medical Centre has a fully-equipped treatment room and a small ward of six beds in the Senior School and an independent Medical Facility in the Preparatory School.

Our health professionals attend all sporting events across both campuses and a dedicated First Aid treatment room is situated in the Foundation Pavilion.

We strive to provide a nurturing, safe and supportive environment where open communication and availability to all families is of the utmost importance.

As part of the enrolment process, we ask that all families complete a Student Health Record.
