Guildford Grammar School welcomed students back to campus last week, marking the start of an exciting 2025 academic year. The return of both day and boarding students brought the campus to life, with a focus on supporting every student to thrive and achieve personal excellence. 

Boarding students were the first to arrive, greeted by a warm welcome from staff and peers. For families, the School’s strong sense of community and connection was evident, setting the tone for a year of growth and achievement. 

As students reconnected with friends, teachers, and the wider School community, the week was filled with opportunities to reflect on the shared values that define Guildford Grammar: excellence, respect, integrity, spirituality, and compassion. The much-loved “Congo” Chapel service brought students together in a spirited celebration of these values, reinforcing the sense of belonging that makes the Guildford experience unique. 

With classrooms buzzing and a renewed energy across the School, 2025 is set to be a year where every student is supported to excel academically, grow socially, and develop the resilience and confidence to face the future.
