Training Schedule (Years 7-12)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 6:00am–7:30am @ Senior 50m Pool
All swimmers should arrive 10 minutes early, ready to start on time. Attendance and consistency are key to development and selection.
Friday Breakfast (Optional): Join us after Friday morning training for a $4 Burrito and Juice. It’s a great way to connect with your peers and coaches in a relaxed environment. Coaches will also use this time to provide feedback and celebrate progress.

Clipboard (Training & Competition Management Tool)
Guildford Grammar School uses Clipboard to manage all training sessions, competitions, and Team communications. Students and parents can view scheduled activities, receive updates, and access important event information directly through the Clipboard platform. Attendance is also recorded through Clipboard, so it’s important that students check the app regularly and notify Mr Jo-Kovacs of any expected absences. This helps ensure accurate planning, smooth coordination, and clear communication across the program.
Training Expectations
We encourage:
Senior Swimmers – Minimum 2–3 sessions/week
Juniors – Minimum 2 sessions/week
Club swimmers (GKDSC or other) – At least one GGS session/week
Alternative arrangements must be discussed with the Head of Aquatics.

To support a positive and motivating environment:
• Swimming Colours – Colours and Senior Colours are awarded to swimmers who represent the School at either the PSA or ACC Interschool Carnivals in an individual or relay event within a Division 1 category.
• Trophy Winners – are awarded to swimmers who wins Trophy events at House Carnival
