Music
“Music is what feelings sound like.”
– Georgia Cates
At Guildford Grammar, our music program offers a joyful, collaborative space where students build confidence, skills, and a lifelong passion for music. Through engaging classroom experiences and a diverse range of co-curricular ensembles, students learn to express themselves, connect with others, and find their own place in the world of music. Our music ensembles perform at prestigious events, including the United Nations Conference (2023 and 2024) and IPSHA Performing Arts’ Festival (2024), as well as within our school community.

Early Years (Kindergarten and Pre-Primary)
In the Early Years, music lays the foundation for essential skills, from literacy and language to social and emotional growth. Through circle songs, musical games, and movement, students are introduced to rhythm, melody, and creative performance in a safe and supportive environment. With opportunities like the Kindy Cushion Concerts and ELC Nativity, students experience the joy of performing and sharing music.
