There’s something special about seeing your child light up when they feel they truly belong. At our Preparatory School Experience Days, prospective students don’t just tour the School, they live a day in the life of a Guildford Grammar student.
From the moment they arrive, your child will be immersed in a hands-on program designed to spark curiosity, grow confidence and ignite their love of learning. They’ll move through music, drama, science, nature-based play and more – guided by passionate teachers and supported by a buddy from our Preparatory School.
It’s joyful, genuine and grounded in what makes our School such a distinctive place to grow.
Preparatory Experience Day Details
Date: Monday 28 July 2025
Time: 8.45am – 2.45pm
Location: Guildford Grammar School, Foundation Pavilion.

All activities are designed for students currently in Years 3, 4 and 5, with a small-group format to ensure every student feels seen, supported and involved.
- Music and Drama sessions where creativity takes centre stage
- STEAM activities that invite tinkering, problem-solving and discovery
- Nature play and our much loved bush school, including cooking over an open fire
- Time to connect with current students and feel part of our community from the start
Parents will enjoy a welcome session and tour of our Preparatory School, meet key staff and learn how we support a smooth, confident transition into Senior School. You’ll hear about our teaching approach, co-curricular opportunities and the exciting developments ahead through our Master Plan. We believe in genuine connection and this day is as much for you as it is for your child.
