Welcome to the Preparatory School, 2026

We are delighted to welcome your family to Guildford Grammar School as you prepare to join our Preparatory School community in 2026. This is an exciting time for your child as they take the next step in their learning journey — exploring new experiences, forming friendships and discovering all that life at Guildford Grammar has to offer.

Important Information

LOGGING INTO GUILDFORD GRAMMAR SYSTEMS

The next step is to set up your Guildford Grammar login and nominate your child’s Sport, Music and Co-Curricular choices for next year. The information below will help you get started.

Please note: if you are a current Guildford Grammar family, you do not need to do create a new login.

To create your parent login:

  • Visit the password setup page – click here for password setup.
  • Use the email address that Guildford Grammar communications are being sent to.
  • Create a new password (this password will be used across all Guildford Grammar systems).
  • Your username will be your email address.

USING THE GUILDFORD GRAMMAR APP

Once your login is set up, you can access the Guildford Grammar App. You may notice updates that offer a helpful glimpse into daily life at the School, though these are intended for current families. Anything you need to action before the new school year will be communicated by email.

SIGNING UP TO SPORT, MUSIC AND CO-CURRICULAR FOR 2026

We use Clipboard to manage all Sport, Music and Co-Curricular sign-ups, as well as schedules, fixtures and session information for the year. Once your login is active, please sign in to Clipboard using the below link. From there, you can complete your child’s 2026 selections and add the Clipboard app to your phone for easy access to schedules and updates throughout the year.

Sport Selections

Summer Sport selections for Years 4-6 students are now open in Clipboard. Families can login and view the available offerings for Term 1, then nominate their child’s preferred sport. If you have any questions or would like more information about the programs on offer, please contact our Sport team at GGS.Sport@ggs.wa.edu.au.

Instrumental Music Program

Registrations for the 2026 Instrumental Music Program for Years 2-6 students are now open through Clipboard. Places in the program are limited, so families are encouraged to submit registrations as soon as possible. Sign-ups will remain open until 30 January. If you have any questions, please contact the School of Music on 9377 9280 or email music@ggs.wa.edu.au.

Co-Curricular Clubs – Term 1, 2026

Co-curricular club sign-ups for Term 1, open on Monday 1 December at 6.00pm through Clipboard.

  • Each club runs for eight sessions across Term 1.
  • Sessions begin Friday of Week 1 and conclude by Week 10.
  • If a session is cancelled, a makeup session will be scheduled in Week 10.
  • Clubs must be booked each term, as places do not carry over.
  • Reminders will be shared ahead of future sign-up periods.

Please note:

  • Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your child’s place.
  • No refunds are available. In extenuating circumstances, a credit may be issued.
  • Sign-ups close 5 January 5pm. After this time, please contact co-curricular@ggs.wa.edu.au for assistance.

School uniform fittings will take place during November and the December/January holidays. Please click on this link to book an appointment. Staff will be happy to assist and guide you through uniform requirements, which are also outlined on our website: Preparatory School Uniform Requirements.

Please note, children are not required to wear the Guildford Grammar uniform for Step Up Day.

Out of School Hours Care

As you may be aware, we have an Out of School Hours Care facility onsite, ready to welcome your child if you require this support.  Please click here for full details of Before and After School Care as well as the Vacation Care and Pupil Free Days that are offered. Upcoming Events

New Student Orientation Morning on Tuesday 27 January, from 10.00am to 11.30am. All Pre-Primary to Year 6 students commencing in 2026 are invited to attend. Students may wear comfortable casual clothing with closed-in shoes. On arrival, please proceed to the registration table outside the café before gathering in the Nature Playground.

The session will include time in classrooms with 2026 teachers and an opportunity for families to meet staff and ask questions. Parents and guardians are welcome to stay for the full duration.

Orientation details:

  • Date: Tuesday 27 January 2026
  • Time: 10.00am to 11.30am (arrive by 9.50am)
  • Location: Nature Playground (outside the café)
  • Parking: Prep Kiss and Drop
  • What to wear: Casual clothing with closed-in shoes
  • What to bring: A hat and a drink bottle

Save the Date! 

Please diarise a date when all parents and guardians are invited to the Preparatory School Information Evening early in Term 1 on Thursday 29 January 2026 from 6.00pm-8.00pm. Further details and registration for this event will be provided in the new year.

We will host two Kindy Play Dates for our 2026 Kindergarten students. You will have received communication advising the allocated date for your child.
