Prep Students Winning in the Pool

Three Preparatory School students recently performed extremely well in the State Swimming Championships, bringing home a treasure trove of medals!

Year 6 student and Preparatory School Captain Emma Pittman received three state medals in the recent swimming championships! Emma was awarded Silver in the 50m Freestyle, Bronze in the 200m Freestyle and Bronze in the 50m Backstroke. Her ranking in the 50m Freestyle places Emma 2nd in the state and 7th in country for her age group! Well done Emma!

Following in Emma's footsteps, James and Liam Park also had an epic swim at the same State Swimming Finals! In tough competition, James won Bronze in the 200m backstroke, Bronze in the 100m freestyle and Bronze in the 200m IM with a 10 second PB! This means he is now ranked 3rd in the State for those strokes. Liam won Bronze in the 50m backstroke, Silver in the 100m IM, Bronze in the 50m fly, Silver in the 100m freestyle and Gold in the 100m backstroke with an 11 second PB which means he is now ranked first in the State for 100m backstroke and either second or third in the remaining strokes. Congratulations James and Liam!
