Vacation Care Program

With just under two weeks until the school holidays, places in our very popular vacation care program are filling fast. We offer a huge range of programs and activities for children in Pre-Kindy to Year 6, including some exciting excursions and theme days. For those new to vacation care, our My First Vacation Care program is designed to welcome new children and help them to make the most of all that is on offer. Full details of the program are available on our website at https://www.ggs.wa.edu.au/vacation-care

Senior School Dads' Breakfast

The Senior School Dads' Big Breakfast will be held on Friday 27 September from 7.00am-9.00am in the Dining Hall and on Chapel Close.  Tickets cost $15 each and can be purchased by clicking here.  Each father and student/s need to buy a ticket (so three tickets for 1 father and 2 students).  Tickets for this event must be purchased before the event. There will be no door sales.

Breakfast will be served between 7.00am-8.00am and dads are welcome to come along at any time in between.  Tickets will be emailed to you once you have purchased them; please hang onto them or save them on your phone as we will need them on the morning to help manage the queues.

Following the breakfast we will host the tightly contested House Tug of War!

Boarders' families do not need to pay for their son's breakfast (only the dad's breakfast) as boarders will be provided with a breakfast voucher.

Dookoorniny Performance on Thursday Evening

The Year 5 and 6 Dookoorniny Performance will be held at 6.00pm on Thursday 19 September near the nature playground. Now in its third year, Dookoorniny is a collaborative project where all Year 5 and 6 students work with members of the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and other project partners to create a performance piece. This year's theme will focus on the Nyoongar seasons, with a Nyoongar language consultant working alongside the students. All members of the community are welcome to join us for this special performance.
