As we head towards the busy part of the term and the end of the school year, some reminders of upcoming events are below.
Guildford on Swan this Saturday
All members of the community are invited to join us for the 19th Annual Guildford on Swan Regatta on Saturday 9 November from 9.00am on the banks of the Swan River. Racing will commence at 9.00am. Morning tea will be served by the Guildford Rowing Association and parent volunteers from 9.45am.
Remembrance Day Chapel Service
All members of the community are invited to join us for the Remembrance Day Requiem Eucharist at 6.15pm on Sunday 10 November. At this service we will offer prayers for peace and recall with thanksgiving the lives of those students and staff of this School who died in war. The names of all who have died will be read out by the 2020 Captains of School.
Preparatory School Grandparents' Day
All Preparatory School grandparents are invited to join is for Grandparents' Day on Friday 15 November. Grandparents will enjoy a Chapel Service, Morning Tea, a concert in the Natureplay Area, time in the classrooms and lunch with their grandchildren. There are two options for lunch this year. Please note that orders for the lunch hamper close on Monday.
Please provide your child with a picnic hamper including lunch for them and their grandparents. Please register online at www.ggs.wa.edu.au/grandparents2019 so that we can make sure we have enough tables and chairs!

P & F AGM
The P & F AGM will be held on Thursday 28 November at 7.00pm in the Foundation Pavilion. Nominations for positions close at 5.00pm on 14 November 2019. Full details of the nomination process can be found here.
Preparatory School Carols Night
The Preparatory School Carols Night will be held on Tuesday 26 November from 6.30pm sharp on Roberts Oval and this year we are celebrating an Aussie Christmas! Students and families can come along in their best Aussie Christmas outfit!
The GGS Catering Team will set up their food stalls with savoury and sweet options available for the whole family. Otherwise, bring along your own picnic dinner!
