Congratulations to the New Head of Preparatory School - Dr Holly Miller

21 Sep 2020

With Mr Clark Wight moving into a new role across the whole school as Project Lead – Innovation and Transformation, we are delighted to announce that Dr Holly Miller has been appointed to the position of Head of Preparatory School, commencing in 2021.

Holly joined Guildford Grammar School in 2019 as our Deputy Head of Preparatory School from Christ Church Grammar School. Holly holds a Doctor of Education completed in 2017 and a Master of Education completed in 2010. A dynamic & passionate educator, Holly has been instrumental in leading the development of the Preparatory School’s approach to rich, engaging learning and teaching opportunities that are shaped by the curiosity and imagination of our students.

Holly is looking forward to continuing the Preparatory School’s focus on inquiry, that embraces student questions and interests, providing them with meaningful and authentic experiences to learn and grow.

“We are blessed with a stunning campus full of natural provocations for inquiry and learning. I have great admiration for the staff as they have worked hard to find opportunities to integrate the outdoors and natural spaces into teaching and learning programs and we look forward to continuing to build on this further,” she said.

“The Guildford Grammar School community is very special, and I am thrilled to continue working with the students, families, staff and broader community members.”

We congratulate Holly on her appointment and look forward to the leadership, inspiration and excitement she will bring to this important role.
