In 2025, something special happened. Together, we Raised the Roof and it’s all thanks to you.
Whether you gave your time, shared your talents or made a donation, your support made a lasting difference. The 2025 Annual Appeal brought our community together in a powerful show of House and Quarter pride, shared legacy and a strong commitment to giving back.
This year’s campaign centred on participation. We set out to see which House or Quarter could rally the most support and the response was extraordinary. Across the Guildford Grammar School community, we saw generosity, spirit and connection in action.
The Results Are In
We loved seeing the spirit, generosity and a little House pride flare up along the way. Beyond the friendly rivalry was something more powerful. A community-wide show of care and belief in the potential of our students.

Giving That Changes Lives
At Guildford Grammar School, giving is part of who we are. It reflects the strength of our community and the values we share: respect, compassion, integrity and a commitment to Go Forward together.
This year’s Appeal brought those values to life. Families contributed with pride. Old Guildfordians honoured their time here. Staff showed up with energy and heart. Some gave publicly, others quietly. Each one helped to build opportunity for current and future students.
Scholarship support is one of the most meaningful ways our community gives back and it has a direct, tangible impact.
Drew Benoporath (Class of 2024) knows this firsthand:
Let’s just say I wouldn’t have been going to Guildford if it wasn’t for the scholarship. It took a massive financial pressure off my family and gave me access to opportunities I wouldn’t have otherwise had.
Kelsi Brennan (Class of 2024), now studying Biomedicine and Law, also reflects on how her scholarship helped shape her path:
It allowed me to engage fully with school life, not just in the classroom, but in music, sport and leadership. It gave me access to a network of mentors, and eventually the chance to return as a coach. That continuity has been important.
From House upgrades and Preparatory spaces to scholarships and future facilities, every contribution has helped create an environment where students can thrive.
