The aim of the English Faculty is to provide an innovative and dynamic environment in which boys of all abilities and interests can express themselves clearly and rationally.
The Faculty is committed to enabling all students to reach their potential as critical and creative thinkers, thereby giving them the skills and strategies to engage with the complexities of society and culture. We provide students with ample opportunities to learn and practice the essential functional and critical literacy skills needed to cope with the challenges of the modern world. In order to meet this aim, the Faculty is committed to providing a supportive environment to students of all abilities. It encourages both collaborative and independent thinking and learning, reflecting the team ethos that the staff of the Faculty embody.
