Guildford Grammar School Golf Program 2007
Guildford Grammar School is pleased to announce the development of a specialist golf program for boys in Years 8-12. This exciting new golf program will focus on developing skills by using a combination of lessons and match play on local facilities and using the expertise of professional golfers. Senior boys (Year 11 and Year 12) will be allocated Friday afternoons from 1.00-4.00pm for their coaching and junior boys Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3.30-5.00pm
The Staff
John A. Ince
Guildford Grammar School is pleased to have the services of golf professional John Ince to oversee the development of this exciting new program. John has a strong interest in fostering young talent, something he has done since leaving the European Tour. He has had teaching posts at a range of local and international courses and been involved in course development. From 1995–2004 John was Resident Teaching Professional at Lake Claremont Golf Centre. He is currently Head Teaching Professional at the Rosehill Country Club.
Mark Tibbles
Having turned professional in 1978, Mark has acquired extensive teaching and tournament experience in Australia and Great Britain. He played on the European tour before turning his attention towards a teaching career at the Ealing Golf Club in London. In 1997, Mark established his own golf academy at Brighton located on Melbourne’s famous Sandbelt region. Over the next five years his innovative range of golf development programs introduced more people to golf than any other golf establishment in Victoria. In 2003, Mark and his family relocated to Perth to establish the Mark Tibbles International Golf Schools at The Vines Resort & Country Club.
