The Drama Department is a dynamic and innovative part of the School with an intensive and rigorous curriculum focusing on acting, directing, and designing for the theatre.
The Department is located in the David Lawe Davies Centre (DLD) at the heart of the Arts faculty and offers TEE and non-TEE courses in Year 11 and 12 and Semester and Term courses in Years 8, 9 and 10.
The annual theatrical productions are a highlight of the School Calendar and the newly refurbished DLD is a magnificent, modern and fully equipped venue.
Each year the Arts Department (comprising Drama, Music, Media and Art) stage both a Senior School and Middle School Production with a repertoire including classics, musicals and the latest contemporary plays. The graduating Drama class also presents a showcase of their final year's work.
Students are given the opportunity to participate in all aspects of a production, including, costume, set, lighting and sound design, stage management, make-up, publicity and management.
