Hockey

Hockey was first played at Guildford in 1956 but the first P.S.A. match was played in 1959, when a team led by K.W. Waller of Stirling House played its first game.  In 2005 the 1stXI will be following in the footsteps of one of our most successful teams for many years, coached by Mr Len Fernandes, who has developed these young men into an efficient and receptive body.

The programme at the School is run at all levels to include the Preparatory School and students are encouraged to promote themselves within the State body to achieve representation status.

Both coaches and students are assisted to promote their skills in both training and in competition, a focus being on the biennial tour to Brunei and Sabah where individual schools, district teams and national sides provide excellent competition.
