The Guildford Grammar School of Music presents Music for Grey Matter: A music teacher PD day, which will be held on Thursday 15 September from 9.00am-3.00pm at the School of Music. This PD is designed for classroom teachers, instrumental teachers, music education students and tertiary music students who want to explore different approaches and pedagogies in the field of music teaching. It is also an opportunity to meet and work with two of Australia's leading music educators. Tickets cost $50 each and can be purchased online by clicking here.
We are proud to announce the formation of the Guildford Grammar Symphony Orchestra (GGSO), under the baton of Mr Jonathan Tooby. This is the first time in over 30 years that the school has formed a symphony orchestra. The Orchestra will perform its début concert on the evening of Thursday 22 September at 7.30pm in the David Lawe Davies Centre.

Registrations are now open for Guildford Grammar School's second Excellence in Classroom Teaching Conference, for primary and secondary school teachers in Perth. Last year's conference was a great success, attended by over 100 primary and secondary school teachers from across the state.

Guildford Grammar School will soon have the first synthetic hockey turf located in the Eastern Corridor of Perth. The turf is currently under construction adjacent to Roberts Oval.
We are proud to report that towards the end of last year the Guildford Grammar School Out of School Care Program was assessed by the Government's Education and Care Regulatory Unit against the National Quality Framework, and passed with flying colours, meeting all of National Quality Standards. Congratulations to all of the Centre's staff on providing such an outstanding service.
