Boarding
Guildford Grammar School has a proud tradition of accepting boarders since 1896. Our long history of boarding has enabled us to develop the philosophy, custom, practice and principles that assist with the pastoral care of each boarder.
Our aim is to provide a safe, caring and happy environment, where boys find friendship in work, sport and activities. We aim to make boarding as much like home as we can, to nurture those in our care as they grow and develop. Boarding is a unique opportunity to learn to be considerate, courteous, respectful, tolerant of others and the importance of cooperation and responsibility. We hope that boys will come with a positive attitude and make the most of their time with us, developing good friendships that will last a lifetime.
Key features of our program include specialist boarding staff, two halls of residence, single and double rooms, competitive boarding fees, provision of care during mid-term breaks and weekly boarding opportunities.
